The Paper LoopTach is a retail fastening system in which high-end paper filament loops (strings) are applied with a clip-loaded tool. This tool significantly reduces the time required to apply strings to retail merchandise, and the paper strings are attractive to brands investing in sustainable operations.

The LoopTach System offers customers who tag products like handbags, luggage, and luxury goods the ability to use a premium fastener application tool without the risk of material damage that can result from inserting a needle into these high-value items. Three lengths of string fasteners are available. The speed at which these fasteners are applied can make a major difference for customers. Customers can expect up to a 60% reduction in fastening time compared to hand-applied loop fasteners.

The Paper LoopTach System provides some unique benefits. The filament of the fastener is made from premium Washi Japanese paper, allowing companies to move away from plastic filaments and achieve plastic-reduction goals. This aligns with many packaging regulations across the globe, such as SB 54 in California, EPR, and PPWR in Europe.
