Thoughts on Sustainability: Sustainability is about improving the quality of life for both  present and future generations. We work to achieve that by doing more with less, through hard work and innovation, and by wasting nothing. Sustainability is important to my family and me because the environment sustains us and is the center of our time together. We recognize the increasing stress being put on Mother Earth by the growing population. So we recycle whenever we can, and are sensitive to the environment. And we strive to do more personally and professionally.

Lisa Asselin

She held various engineering and operations roles with Corning Life Sciences before returning to Avery Dennison in 2005. Since then, she’s served various roles in operations, quality and new product development.

Thoughts on Sustainability: Sustainability means that we give back more than we take in our interactions with people and the environment. To accomplish this, we must rely on strong collaboration within our teams, and a nonstop effort to uncover and eliminate waste. This is directly aligned to the focus the Operations Team has had over the last 10-plus years. We do this through continuously improving our processes, and focusing on improving the productivity and safety of our facilities.

Thoughts on Sustainability: Sustainability means doing what is right for the environment, our customers and Avery Dennison. Providing sustainable solutions that give consumers the ability to feel good about products they buy is paramount. It is making the right decision over the easy decision and being accountable for our actions.
